With Professor Charles Fokunang as Chairperson, the Cameroon Association for Health Research and Environmental Protection was established to
build capacty of scientists and lecturers in good research governance, integrity for scientfic grant writing, submission and promote health research ethics;
– Develop good research platforms and regulatory compliance in good laboratory, clinical and manufacturing practices – Build competence to evaluate, monitor and audit clinical trials, the drug development process – Promote strong advocacy for traditional medicine research towards product homologation/patent filing processing
– Foster community engagement and participation in
multidisciplinary clinical research and development – Build capacity in digital health technology for one health
