SUMMARY:The £5000 grants
DESCRIPTION:The RSTMH 2023 Early Career Grants Programme opened for applications at 9:00AM GMT\, 1 February 2023. \nApplications for grants of up to £5\,000 (GBP) are welcomed from early career researchers and global health professionals based anywhere in the world\, who have not had research funding of £5\,000 (GBP) or more in their own name before.  \nThe projects can be on any topic related to tropical medicine and global health\, from across the research spectrum of lab\, translation\, implementation and policy\, and should take up to one year. \nThe maximum RSTMH Early Career Grant award is £5\,000 (including any taxes on relevant purchases) and for up to one year in duration. \nSee the grants awarded in 2022 here and read a summary of the grant awardees here. \nGuidance on applying\nOn 15 February 2023\, we hosted an Applicant Guidance Webinar. You can watch the recording below or here. \nWe are planning a series of more detailed online sessions on aspects of the application form for RSTMH members in March. These will include developing a research question\, forming a budget\, selecting the best methodology\, determining realistic outcomes.
